A designer house in Ciudad Nueva, Asunción, where the history of an old home was reinterpreted with sensitivity and boldness by Paraguayan architect Javier Corvalán. Conceived as a redesign for writer Susana Gertopan, it is a piece of experiential architecture, full of poetry, movement, and contemplation.
The original house was carefully renovated, preserving its essence while adding a contemporary language. Exposed materials, unusual geometry, and structural gestures such as the famous undulating wall and suspended counterweights create a unique visual narrative.
